Header and buttons

The bar a guest sees with Call Us, Text Us, and Book Online.

The guest header is a preview state of Website Widgets. There is no extra merchant route. Toggle it from Configure & Preview.

What it is

When the header is enabled, a guest sees a bar with the business name and {Business} is available now — reach us instantly. The bar also shows powered by getdandy. This is not the round chat launcher.

What the guest sees

Each button appears only if it was turned on:

  • Call Us — dials the AI Agent Phone Number
  • Text Us — opens SMS to that number
  • Book Online — follows the booking link stored on the widget (bookOnlineUrl has no merchant editor)

Colors come from Text Us & Call Us Button Style (Button Background Color / Button Text Color) on Webchat Settings → appearance.

Controls (merchant)

On Configure & Preview: Text Us Button, Call Us Button, Book Online Button. Preview states Closed / Form open / Chat let you check the bar without publishing.

Dismissing the header on the guest site does not remove the chat launcher.

Typical workflow

  1. Turn on the buttons you want.
  2. Confirm the AI Agent Phone Number is the number guests should actually reach.
  3. Preview Closed on desktop and mobile.
  4. Save Changes.
