Live Phone Receptionist

Call volume and after-hours coverage for the phone add-on.

Communications → Live Phone Receptionist (/live-phone) is marked New in the sidebar. The page title is Receptionist Performance Overview, subtitle “Key Metrics of your call Management”. It is a call dashboard, not the live inbox. Live calls still appear in Conversations under Voice.

What it is

Carrie answers the business number. This screen reports how those calls went. Manage Your Receptionist leaves the merchant app and opens Front Desk at https://frontdesk.getdandy.com/login. Phone provider, support number, and transfer rules are collected first in Launch Progress.

Open the screen

Click Live Phone Receptionist. Without the add-on you see marketing copy (24/7 Live Phone Receptionist) and demo stats (Leads Generated / Appt Booked / Escalations to Humans), plus a trial modal. Loader: Loading receptionist dashboard….

What the page shows

Date Filters: Today · Yesterday · Last 7 Days (default) · Last Month · This Quarter · Custom Range (Start / End / Done). Apply / Cancel.

A multi-select location picker. Locations that are not active open a trial modal (· Not active).

Metrics: Total Calls Taken · Average Call Duration · Total Time Saved · After Hours Calls Answered.

Charts: Total Calls Taken (bar) and Total After Hours Calls Answered (line), with Daily / Weekly / Annually.

The same Incoming call browser overlay as Conversations can appear here: Take over from the AI? · Let AI continue · Take over · Mute / Hang up.

Typical workflow

  1. Set Last 7 Days (or Custom Range) and the locations you care about.
  2. Check After Hours Calls Answered vs Total Calls Taken.
  3. Open Manage Your Receptionist only when you need Front Desk (hours, greeting, routing beyond the Launch wizard).
  4. Work individual calls in Conversations → Voice.

Empty, locked, or preview-only

Enable Live Phone Receptionist trial modal: “Add this to your account and we'll train your receptionist for you!” Select Location to Add: · Get it Now! · Cancel. Empty: No locations found on your account.
