Profile

The signed-in owner's contact details, password, and personal alerts.

Settings → Profile (/profile) is titled Profile. Kicker Settings. Description: “Your GetDandy identity, sign-in, and which locations this account covers.” Loader: Loading profile…. You can also open it from your avatar.

What it is

This is the signed-in person. Other people on the account are managed in My Team. Password reset from the signed-out sign-in flow ends on the same kind of password screen.

Open the screen

Click Profile under Settings, or open it from the avatar menu.

What the page shows

Aside: {name} or Your name · {company} · {role} · email · Email is locked to this login · {n} location(s).

Identity — “How your team sees you in GetDandy.”

  • Full name (John Doe)
  • Email address — “Used for login and owner alerts” (disabled)
  • Phone / Country code (9495550188)

Password — “Leave blank unless you want to change it.”

  • Current password — At least 3 characters
  • New password — At least 8 characters
  • Confirm password — At least 8 characters

Alerts & locations — “These follow you across your locations.”

  • Contact preferences: Email · SMS · soon
  • Notification preferences: Lead received · Negative feedback · Review removals · New webchat alert · soon · Monthly report · soon
  • Locations (chip per location name)

Save: Update my information / Saving…. There are no tabs.

Typical workflow

  1. Update Full name and Phone.
  2. Leave password blank unless you are changing it. Then fill current, new, and confirm.
  3. Turn on the notification types you want for yourself.
  4. Update my information.
  5. Account-level recipients still live on Notifications.

Empty, locked, or preview-only

Email cannot be changed here. SMS · soon, New webchat alert · soon, and Monthly report · soon are not sending yet.
