Location filter

How the selected location changes what the dashboard shows.

Most merchant screens are scoped to one location. The switcher sits in the sidebar footer, under your name and company, labeled Filter by location. It is not My Locations (where you add and edit sites) and not the extra location select that some pages keep in their own header.

What it is

The filter chooses which site you are looking at. Options are All Locations plus each live site. The choice is stored in the session and restored the next time you open the app.

On a phone the same control appears in the navigation drawer. On large screens it is always in the sidebar footer.

Open the screen

There is no dedicated URL. Open any authenticated page and use the select at the bottom of the left sidebar.

What the page shows

The select lists:

  • All Locations (id: all)
  • Each location by name

Changing it updates queues, reports, QR codes, listings, and most Settings forms that are location-scoped.

Screens with their own picker

These screens also have a location control in the page header. That control can disagree with the sidebar until you match them:

A number that looks wrong is often the neighboring site, or All Locations mixed with a page that only shows one site.

Typical workflow

  1. Pick the location in the sidebar before you open a queue.
  2. If the page has a second select, set that too.
  3. Add or rename sites under My Locations. The filter only chooses; it does not create locations.
